Smooth Star Entertainment is an entertainment brand created by Michael Chris. Michael Chris is a writer and film producer from St. Petersburg, FL who writes and produces indie short films and web series. With his stories, he aims to paint a more accurate depiction of people of color, especially African Americans, and eradicate negative stereotypes that affect these communities in the supernatural and drama genres. Because of this, Michael is an advocate for partnering with inclusive production companies and fellow filmmakers that seek to diversify storytelling.
