Jasmine Colucci is no stranger to the pain and suffering of the dogs she rescues. As a bullied teenager, depression dominated her life; there was no escaping the daily panic attacks stemming from social anxiety. Her doctor suggested she volunteer with an organization that helps the less fortunate and she begrudgingly decided to foster a neglected dog. That one act would become the beginning of Jasmine’s mission to rescue the abandoned dogs of Manitoba’s northern reserves.
